Township of Hamilton police said Black Horse Pike was closed near the intersection with High Bank Road on Wednesday, Apr. 3, the department said in a Facebook post.

The crash was reported to the state Department of Transportation at around 2:51 p.m. The NJDOT also said a utility pole was knocked down during the crash.

This is at least the second wreck on this stretch of Black Horse Pike between the Penny Pot and Weymouth communities in about a week. A 22-year-old woman was killed in a crash on Thursday, Mar. 28.

Police asked drivers to avoid the area east of the intersection with Route 73.
